Business and charitable foundation: successful stories of cooperation

Ukrainian companies have a good opportunity to develop their social responsibility through cooperation with charitable foundations. Such cooperation is beneficial for both parties: the fund can help its wards through additional funds, and the company can easily improve its reputation and directly help those who really need it.
The Fund for Helping Sick Children constantly cooperates with businesses of various sizes and types. Here are some examples of such cooperation from 2018:

In March 2018, the organizers of the first cryptocurrency in Ukrainejoined the charitable activities of the Ukrainian Relief Fund . 10% of each ticket sold was transferred to the treatment of 3-year-old Nikita Badykov, who required cochlear implantation of the second ear.

The organizers of the Book Courage Bazaar event in September 2018 also joined the joint charitable activities and helped the wards of the foundation. The Fund became the operator of the project on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange. Funds were raised for the purchase of correctional equipment for the Kyiv boarding school №11 for visually impaired children with in-depth study of subjects of the artistic and aesthetic cycle.

Together with the PrivatBank company, the Help is Easy! Foundation, we have been continuing the charity project since 2017."Helping children with heart defects." As part of this action, caring Ukrainians donated more than UAH 6 million through the banking system.

The Fora chain of stores together with TM "Agusha Ukraine" and TM "Yagotynske for children" organized a campaign "Heart beats thanks to…". The action took place in several stages. UAH 1 from each unit of products of TM "Agusha Ukraine" and TM "Yagotynske for children", purchased in the chain of stores "Fora" was transferred for the treatment of Ufond wards, children with heart defects. The project helped raise more than 610,000 hryvnias for the treatment of Ufond wards.

New Year’s Eve campaign "Light Up Your Heart" from Infopulse and the Fund raised 151,110 hryvnias, which saved the hearts of two children.

The action "Charity instead of New Year’s souvenirs" in 2018 brought together several small companies. The essence of the action is very simple: the budget, which was supposed to go to purchase unnecessary souvenirs, went to save a particular child. Employees of the participating companies instead received leaflets stating who they had helped and how.
